According to statistics from Gasgoo Auto Research Institute, the sales of China's passenger car electrification market totaled 9.836 million units in 2023, with an electrification penetration rate reaching 37.8%. Driven by the new energy vehicle purchase tax reduction policy and the dual-carbon policy, the transition to automotive electrification is expected to accelerate into a full market expansion phase. It is estimated that by 2024, the electrification scale will approach 12 million, with a market penetration rate of 45%.

 

From the perspective of electrification technology, current breakthroughs in battery structure and materials are continuously being made, with manganese iron phosphate lithium batteries and semi-solid-state batteries gradually moving towards mass production. Meanwhile, vehicle high-voltage platforms are accommodating both 400V/800V and full 800V options, evolving towards platformization, deep integration, cross-domain fusion, and power domain modules. Corresponding high-voltage connector and converter technologies have also achieved key technological applications. Overall, platformization, deep integration, and power domain modules are the main development directions of electrification.

 

Against this backdrop, NEPCON ASIA 2024, in collaboration with Gasgoo Auto, will host the 4th Core Automotive Electrification Technology Forum on November 7, 2024, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). Focusing on key industry topics such as technological innovation in power batteries, cost reduction and efficiency improvements, power battery exports, the integration and high-power development of small three-electric systems, and the vehicle high-voltage platform, the forum will invite representatives from leading companies and industry experts. Discussions will center around topics like lithium iron phosphate batteries, semi-solid-state batteries, all-solid-state batteries, new energy DC/DC converters, high-voltage connectors, and full SiC high-voltage platforms, gathering industry wisdom to provide new insights for the development of the industry.
